Klippa Launches DocHorizon Platform to Bridge the AI Knowledge Gap for Automation

Dutch software developer Klippa has launched a new solution to automate boring office tasks. The idea of the new DocHorizon Platform is to help anyone employ AI power by simply choosing and connecting functionalities in a visual environment. Citing results of recent Manpower and IBM surveys, he suggests that implementing workplace automation leads to wide reaching solutions, including but not limited to the labor crisis. 

“Even though an average 77% percent of global employers are struggling with it, only 35% of companies are leveraging automations as an alternative to tackle the problem. The reason is generally this gap between accessibility and the technical capabilities of a company. DocHorizon is our response. Timing for the DocHorizon Platform launch is quite ideal, given that Klippa will soon represent the Netherlands at the most influential tech event in the world: CES 2024. In Las Vegas, the Dutch software company’s new flagship product is going to be showcased for visitors to try it live. The platform is available for all languages using the Latin alphabet.

How does it work?

On the platform, office workers who perform administrative tasks are enabled to automate all document related tasks. Things like scanning, sorting, reading, extracting information, converting, approving and verifying. All of these can now be automated with a few clicks. Users can create workflows that fetch documents from applications – like email or drive folders – and send them, with all checks completed, to ERPs, accounting systems, CRMs or file storage. Think receipts, invoices, passports, salary slips, bank statements and many more. 

Part of the beauty of the platform is that it offers the option to combine the best of AI with the best of human capabilities. Meaning AI will do the majority of the work and people make the final decisions.
