In less than a decade, the AI-powered document processing company has grown from an idea into a truly global presence. It’s only natural that with business volume growth came physical expansion. As a result, the Klippa team and their guests celebrated the move into a large, fitting company headquarters.

The self-standing building situated on Laan Corpus Den Hoorn 1, Groningen, is more than just a new home in a nice neighborhood. While Klippa management carries on with expansion initiatives, heading out from a shared office space into an own HQ was a logical move. The spacious, open plan design makes for enough breathing room for both ‘veterans’ and regularly incoming new employees. It even includes a fully equipped gym, which builds not only muscles but also team moral and co-worker bonding.

According to CEO Yeelen Knegtering, a dedicated space was necessary in order to best develop the company’s identity. “Shared office spaces are great in the early life of a company. But when a brand reaches maturity, the need to cultivate your distinct identity in the workspace becomes very important. Even more so, highly necessary security protocols are much easier to implement when having full control of said workspace.”

To celebrate the relocation, Klippa has invited all its employees and friends to a festive evening. The main event was a proper reveal of the new location, including guided company tours for the visitors and fun events. Guests also enjoyed music, barbecues, and of course a celebratory glass of champagne.
