About the Role
At Klippa, we don’t just set high goals—we execute to achieve them. As Head of Sales, you’ll lead from the front, working side-by-side with your team to identify the right customers, close deals, and expand our market reach.
You won’t just manage from the sidelines; you’ll actively engage in the sales process, set an example, and inspire your team to exceed expectations. Whether it’s crafting solutions for prospects, negotiating contracts, or guiding (junior) team members, you’ll be deeply involved in all aspects of sales execution.

In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and lead a team of Account Executives and SDRs, all dedicated to driving new business growth. Currently, the team consists of seven members, with plans to expand to at least ten by the end of the year.
You will work closely together with peers like the Head of Partnerships, Head of Marketing, Head of pre-sales and Head of Customer success, which each have their own teams.

Your Responsibilities:
Be hands-on: Work directly with your team to identify and engage the right customers, lead high-value sales conversations, and close deals.
Lead by example: Show your team how it’s done by being actively involved in the sales process from start to finish, achieving your own personal sales goals.
Collaborate: Work closely with Account Executives, SDRs, and marketers to ensure seamless teamwork and optimal results.
Support and Empower: Coach and mentor your team, helping them refine their skills, overcome challenges, and hit their targets.
Drive Execution: Focus on getting things done—whether it’s building a pipeline, analyzing opportunities, or negotiating contracts.
Achieve Together: Align your team around shared goals and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Contribute to strategy: Share your insights to help shape sales strategies while executing on current plans to deliver growth.
Who Are You?
You are an energetic and action-oriented leader who thrives on teamwork and results. You are a real new business hunter that loves being in the trenches with your team. You know that success comes from good execution and teamwork.
You also have:
Drive: A passion for closing new business deals and achieving ambitious targets.
Skills: Strong coaching, negotiation, and organizational abilities.

Collaboration: A team-first mindset, knowing that success is a group effort.
Knowledge: Experience in software sales or related fields.
Languages: Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in an additional language (e.g., German, Dutch, French) is an advantage.
Proven Track Record: You have a proven track record in outbound sales and strong skills on the phone.
