The CMR Document, also sometimes called the International Consignment Note or CMR Waybill, is an international transportation document for all road transport that is based on the CMR convention.
The name CMR originates from “Convention relative au contrat de transport international de marchandises par route.”, which was established at the Geneva convention in 1956. The document is obligated for many forms of international road transportation and is usually signed by multiple parties in the transport sector (sender, carrier(s), receiver).

Next to that, a data processor agreement is in place. We do not store any of your or your customers’ data after processing.
Can Klippa convert CMR waybills to CSV, XLSX, XML or JSON?
Yes we can. Klippa takes pictures of CMR waybills, or their PDF equivalents, and converts them to readable text using OCR. From there we use machine learning to turn the text into structured data. Most of the time we use JSON for this, but depending on your preferences we can also convert CMR waybills to CSV, XLSX or XML.
